Roughly how much bud do you need to make cannabis tea?

I've never made cannabis tea before, but I've heard it works, so yea.. I usually smoke weed with buddies, so I don't know how much I'd need for just myself.. Also, do you consume cannabis tea slowly or do you chug it? or does it not matter?
