New born kittens w/hole in abd. area, 2 died?

help! i took in a 9 month old kitten left on my porch. she has kittens, they were all born with a swollen abdominal area, im not sure if its an umbilical hernia or not, one of them had this puss stuff come out, and it died the next day, then another one of the kittens the clot thing didnt form right and she died the next day. so i have lost 2 already. the remaining 2 are 1 week and one day old now. i noticed the little girls belly is more flat now in the abd. area, and the boy had the puss stuff come out and now there is a hole where the abd. area should be closed. its not bleeding but there is a little hole there. im not sure what to do. what it help for the mean time if i get some neosporin and put a little bandaid over it just to protect it? they are going potty on there own now, so the momma doesnt lick as much. i dont have the money to go the er vet, im wondering if the other two might have died from an infection from this. i wasnt prepaired to have a momma and her babies, but i couldnt leave her on my porch. i also took in a little grey baby that i found under my porch, who is doing well, and the momma has adopted her. i have never seen this problem in litters before. i dont know what happened or why this was caused. help!
