Whats a good mtg deck that will out last this october ban list?

I currently play a rdw, but i want to play something a little more complicated. More of a mid game deck. A friend told me naya, but most of the cards in that deck are getting cycled out this october, and therefore not worth the money to me. Anyone have a suggestion? like a deck that costs anywhere from 50-150, that would be competitive enough for tournaments. If it helps i have 4 arid mesa and 4 scalding tarn that would be nice to use, but not necissary. thank you
