Sorry to say but tongue piercing is the most stupid torture you can do to your mouth and tongue. It is done by unprofessional people who have no clue about body anatomy and if you are lucky, they will not damage any important nerve or blood supply. I had a young girl 16 year old as a emergency patient after piercing her tongue, and her tongue got infected and is numb and will be numb for ever. so she has to live with it for the rest of her life and can not sue the piercer because they are NOT medical professional. New born kittens w/hole in abd. area, 2 died?

help! i took in a 9 month old kitten left on my porch. she has kittens, they were all born with a swollen abdominal area, im not sure if its an umbilical hernia or not, one of them had this puss stuff come out, and it died the next day, then another one of the kittens the clot thing didnt form right and she died the next day. so i have lost 2 already. the remaining 2 are 1 week and one day old now. i noticed the little girls belly is more flat now in the abd. area, and the boy had the puss stuff come out and now there is a hole where the abd. area should be closed. its not bleeding but there is a little hole there. im not sure what to do. what it help for the mean time if i get some neosporin and put a little bandaid over it just to protect it? they are going potty on there own now, so the momma doesnt lick as much. i dont have the money to go the er vet, im wondering if the other two might have died from an infection from this. i wasnt prepaired to have a momma and her babies, but i couldnt leave her on my porch. i also took in a little grey baby that i found under my porch, who is doing well, and the momma has adopted her. i have never seen this problem in litters before. i dont know what happened or why this was caused. help!

With soccer looking more like WWF wrestling every day with the dives and such, why can't there simply be enough eyes in the proper positions to track the game and make correct calls? Every game there are a number of missed calls because the man in the middle simply cannot keep up with the play. It is just like watching a televised wrestling match where crap goes on while a ref is distracted. Sure the linesmen can raise their flages (which they seldom do) but they can't whistle a play dead and if the referee dosen't acknowledge the call they might as well be flagging down a train.

What do i do about my husband? i want to make things work?

My argument isnt just based on that so much, as it is on the idea that some human lives are more worthless than others. I feel like I have to point out the otherside of this coin. Science doesn’t know much about life. Physics is another story entirely, gravity is pretty unambiguous for example, but as far as biology and life goes science doesn’t even know what life is let alone when it begins. What is the definition of life? One clic definition is that life is anything that grows/eats/produces offspring.What about fire? Fire isn’t alive even though it fits that definition. Life is anything that grows/eats/produces offspring/thinks.What about plants? They don’t think but they are alive. Pretty quickly you discover that the only definition of life we have so far is, “I know it when I see it.” Since we don’t even know what life is, it’s very difficult to unambiguously declare that life begins at conception. I would argue that life begins at birth. Why? Because before then you only have one living being, not two. In the words of Dr. House, a fetus is a parasite that cannot live on its own. Saying a fetus is a distinct living being is like saying my arm is a distinct living being. My arm is alive, yes, but you can’t murder my arm. My argument doesn’t have much to do with that, I’m perfectly willing to grant that a fetus is alive, I just wanted to point out that things aren’t that simple. For example, cutting off a finger and murdering a person are totally different, as is killing a fetus vs. killing a baby.Point is, my argument in favor of abortion is that killing is basically ok. Humans kill everything. Endometeriosis and abdomenal pain??

I was told i had a touch of irritable bowel yet he is worried about other conditions but did not say what. I got two letters yestersday from his surgery. first i have to have a CT scan of my abdomen and pelvis. then the following week i must have a double contrast barium enema done? Chronic nausea and vomiting bile?

I have been sick lately, as in the last two months. I have also been at a boarding school that agrees I seem sick, but won't take me to a doctor for a variety of reasons, legitimate and silly. My symptoms include a chronic nausea, vomiting bile some mornings, some weakness in the limbs, my hands shake occasionally, and it hurts a lot in my stomach sometimes. I also haven't been eating as much, as my friend has pointed out. If someone could tell me what I should do in this situation that would be greatly appreciated, like if I should just push the school to let me go to a doctor immediately or just wait out until I go home. I know the symptoms are most likely to vague to be able to say what I have, but it would be nice to get educated guesses as well.

Would it be better for me to have a c-section now at 35 weeks?

I am 35 weeks with twins. they are breech/transverse so that is the reason for the c-section. I have been going to a high risk clinic because baby b is not getting enough blood flow through the umbilical cord. my Doctor said there is most likely a knot in the cord. so i have been researching this and it is making me worried.If there is a knot in the cord this could eventually cut off baby b supply of oxygen. there would be no way for me to tell because i can not tell which baby is moving at any time, so baby b could have decreased fetal movement and i would never know until it is too late. i am having 2 nst a week and a ultrasound with doc appt. But what if something happens in between visits? would it be better for them to take the babies out now rather then risk baby b,s life?

Sweet 16 party ideas?

Please help me with my car!?

Ive been posting questions about my car, but the condition has worsened so I may have enough deatails for you guys to get an idea of whats going on. it started off sputtering a bit when i accelerated, and then progressed to a full rumble, almost like a chopper, or a high velocity clicking (surging?). The car jerks/bumps back and forth as i accelerate. sometimes it wont accelerate at all, stuck on a single low speed like 10 or 20 and i have to fight with it, pressing on my gas, letting off my gas, to make it go (very slow and stressful process) . When im stopped, it now will continue to bump around, sometimes small frequent bumps, sometimes harsh ones like someone hit my car or something. Its like theres rocks tumbling around in there! this is really hard to explain but im doing my best. also, it is not leaking oil but im burning through about a quart a week, maybe more. Please give me some ideas as to what this could be, and please tell me about how much it would cost to get it fixed. I would really really appreciate some experienced help here. oh btw its a '99 ford escort with 130,000 miles. Thanks!!

I'm 27 and my husband and I are getting a divorce because I caught him screwing his secretary about 5 months ago.. I was going to move out when I found a place to go.. I'm not from this city, my family is about 7 hours away and there are no jobs available there. Anyway, Jon has been spreading rumors telling people I was cheating on him with Alex all along. Which is a lie. A couple of Jon's friends saw me and Alex out at dinner a couple nights ago and couldn't stop staring. We had both had a couple gles of wine and I made a comment about his friends staring.. He made a comment along the lines of 'well lets give them something to talk about'.. then he leaned over and kissed me! But it seems like mainstream hip hop fanatics get really outraged if someone doesn't worship or consider these guys as the best. Why is it that these rappers are instantly crucified? 2Pac was good because he was lyrically talented and rapped about social issues. Biggie was lyrically talented, but he was a gangsta rapper. Jayz just has good beats. N is lyrically talented but his beats suck. Personally I consider Ice Cube, Public Enemy, Dead Prez, Immortal Technique, and maybe 2Pac the best rappers. It wont take that long to learn how to ski, and even if u go there and like not do much, u still will have fun because u are exposed to a new environment. If you're trying to work out your relationship with your ex wife again, do things differently. If it's already been four months and nothing's been resolved, either do some things differently to try and resolve these issues or go. There's no point in wasting your time just for good behavior, because the issues will turn up eventually if not resolved. If you have heard what I have heard about the rubber guard then you have heard that it is the future of Jiu-jitsu in maa. I plan on mastering a few simpler parts the ground game before I start toying around it but have you been watching the UfC or the Wec as of late. Guy after poor guy is on his back trying to make use of the rubber guard but nothing comes of it. They throw there leg up towards the head and grab on and then either hold it for a little and let go or let it go virtually seconds after they get it on. Why is that. Frankly Jiu-jitsu in general has seemed to take a back seat to wrestlers in the ufc which I think is testiment to the fact that any good jiu-jitsu guy these days has got to master striking and being on his back. Sell or rent out my dad's duplex?

My father recently ped away due to a fire at his duplex. I have 3 other siblings who are going to inheret it. The homeowners insurance is going to cover the repairs and then some from the fire. I have no experience in real estate other than the stories my father told me. I'm only 23 years old and I'm on Social Security for depression and anxiety. My pediatrician suggests NOT taking it away from him cold turkey because they use it for comfort and without introducing something else to them in its place it could cause mental anguish. My oldest son had his until he was 4 (yes I'm ashamed) but he had to let it go on his own. My 2 year old just got tired of it eventually and when I noticed him not wanting it as much I hid it. He still asked for it for I would distract him with other things until finally he forgot it about it which took a couple of months. Just give him time, he'll let it go when he's ready.

Old house with 2 prong outlets. is the box grounded?

Im renting a house for a steal of a price,(hence im not moving out) its a 3 bedroom 2 bath. problem is.. i think it was built in the 50's so every outlet in the house only has 2 prongs. I have read some posts on the internet and one said that the box may be grounded. could this be true, and can i test it myself? (i know how to turn off the circuit breaker and replace outlets) can i replace these outlets without an entire electrical renovation... ironically the guy who owned it before me was a career electrician. So confused... could i still be pregnant?

I had my last period July 12. My most fertal days were July 21 - 25 and my ovulation day was July 26. My boyfriend works out of town so needless to say when he comes home its like a honeymoon. We had unprotected on all of my most fertal days and sometimes more than once a day. I should of started my next period on the 9 or 10. I never did. On the 14 I had a light pink when I wiped afted using the restroom. That only happened once. I had one day of slight cramps but nothing really bad. My were swollan but never sore. My stomach was extremely bloated. I started getting headaches around August 17. On the 20 I started feeling nausia tired. I felt that way all they way til today. Today is the 23 and when I woke up this morning I had started my period. My cramps are horrible! I have blead off and on all day. The crazy thing is I still feel sick, dizzy, tired and have thrown up several times. I also noticed on my calander that if I would of started on the 9th or 10th like I was suppose to today would of been my ovulation day. Not sure if that would make a difference or not. I took several home pregnacy test but they all came up negative. Everyone has said that I may have been to early to tell. Has anyone else ever had this problem? I guess whay I'm wantinh to know is if I was pregnant which I truely feel I was, could I still be pregnant after today. I know I should go to doctor and will BUT I don't have insurance, my local health unit doesn't give pregnacy test. I don't want to go to ER because if I was pregnant and misscarried they will just send me home with a HUGE bill because I wouldn't of been far enough along to need a dnc. Question about beta hcg numbers?

I know the numbers are supposed to double every few days. My question is, when you get your results and they've doubled, does that mean you're "out of the woods" so to speak--as far as miscarriage, blighted ovum, etc.? I had my bloodwork done on Thursday, and it was 2800. I had it re-tested today, and will get the results tomorrow. If it's good, am I safe to ume that everything will be okay from here on out? How often will I have to go back to have the same test done? I have a call in to my doctor's nurse. Just wanted to get some opinions here, too. :)

1994 yz250 sputters as soon as i hit the power band. are my reeds causing this?

i recently bought a yz 250 it starts first or second kick all the time and has great low and midrange power but when i want to wind the motor out in the power band it sputters like its to rich as soon as i get in the power band. i have been all thru the carb cleaned it rejetted the whole nine yards and still nothing. the only thing i havent done was change the reeds i looked at them and they had a gap at about a 1/16 of an inch so i flipped them and it still does the same thing and i also installed a new powervalve being that the old one looked like it got in a fight with a piston at one time but it was rebuilt since then and i did check the piston and cylinder and they look like new the comp. test checked out 185lb so i know that isnt it im clueless rite now except the reeds but i didnt think they made that big of a difference. i just need some input on what i should do. thanks

I sympathize with your views. To me those nobles were little more than brutal gang lords, not noble at all in actuality, who enforced the respect they demanded by force of arms and terror, the only freedoms they were concerned with were their own. Many of these families cling to power to this day, less than a hundred years ago their influence and power was still considerable. It does, or could, remind us that with commitment and determination that if "we" stick together we can change the policies that our leaders deem is best for us. Celebration might be the wrong word but acknowledging that event isn't so bad if it denies dictatorships or absolute rule, it marked one of the events that lead to change. Just like most poems, I think you're trying to be too clever with your vocab and too "deep". It's not natural, it doesn't flow. Poetry is bloody hard, if it's not really good, it just sucks. I mean, she has the will of a bull, yet she kills herself? I don't think so. Hanging a fractured window sill? WTF is that? Desire mire out of life? WHAT?! Poems do need to make sense. MLB 2k8 Help?

Why is MLB 2k8 so different. I give up 11-15 runs per game but I score 20+ runs a game. How do i set it where the good players(a-rod, prince fielder etc.) hit well but the lower cl players do not.
