Quick College QUestion?

They want you to validate whether you are an in-state student or not. Schools which receive state funding charge separate tuition rates for in-state and out of state students. If you are a resident of the state in which the college is located, you'll generally pay around half of what an out of state student pays in terms of tuition. Schools can have different validation requirements, so ask an admissions counselor for the specifics.
