Why does god make nice people suffer more then evil.?

I don't know what i did so bad in my lifetime to have all this suffering put onto me. I was born with not much and then my life flourished but then not so long ago my life crashed into oblivion i lost everything i had and Girlfriend who i believed very strongly to be the one left me and along with that i lost all my friends. God saved me two times from certain death I know that for sure but I don't know why i am suffering so badly can anyone explain to me why this is. There was also a time when i became atheist but i regained my faith later and have it still to this day.
