Is there something wrong in buying thrift store clothes?

I don't have money to buy expensive clothes. I tried finding jobs but there were no of my interest, I live far, or I could not work there for my age. When my dad gives me money he only gives me $25 dollars to buy clothes and I have to go to thrift stores, Susie's Dael's, fallas paredes, so I can buy more. Sometimes I feel bad because all my friends has expensive clothes and I don't. What should I do to not feel bad or embarred for having cheap clothes? I know there's nothing wrong but sometimes people look at you with that face of disgust or think "ha cheap clothes". I just need help banishing this feeling forever.
