Would your life change if you found out that you do not have a soul?

We know that we have a physical body, we know we have a brain and a mind, we know also that we have a heart or emotional centre if one chooses to see it that way. What we do not know for sure is if there is such a thing as a soul, how do we prove/disprove such a thing. Do you have a soul, if so how do you know,? Do you believe based on blind faith or because someone told you,? Do you have some tangible proof? or just common conjecture?
